Description
Ohanvi for WooCommerce connects your store to Ohanvi, a WhatsApp Business Platform built on Meta’s official Cloud API. Once connected, your shoppers get the messages they actually read, on WhatsApp:
- Order updates — confirmation, payment received, shipped with tracking, cancelled, refunded.
- Cash-on-delivery confirmation — ask COD buyers to confirm before you ship.
- Abandoned-cart recovery — a reminder with a link that refills the cart. Works with the block checkout and the classic checkout; no extra cart plugin needed.
- WhatsApp opt-in at checkout — an unticked checkbox, with the answer saved on the order.
- Click-to-chat button — a WhatsApp button on every page of your store.
- Team inbox, broadcasts and chatbots — in your Ohanvi account, with your store’s customers, orders and products already synced.
Connecting takes one step
Open WooCommerce > Marketing > Ohanvi and click Connect to Ohanvi. Sign in to Ohanvi, then approve access on the WooCommerce screen that appears. There are no API keys to copy: WooCommerce issues them to Ohanvi directly, and Ohanvi subscribes to your store’s order, customer and product events.
External service
This plugin works with Ohanvi, a service run by Ohanvi (ohanvi.com). You need an Ohanvi account; plans are listed at https://ohanvi.com/pricing.
What is sent to Ohanvi, and when:
- When you connect your store (only then, and only after you approve it): WooCommerce gives Ohanvi a REST API key for your store and Ohanvi registers webhooks. From then on WooCommerce sends Ohanvi your orders (items, totals, status, billing name, email and phone, shipping details), customers and products as they change.
- When a shopper enters a phone number or email at checkout, if cart recovery is on and your store is connected: their name, email, phone and cart contents, and a recovery link. This travels through the same WooCommerce webhook; on a store that is not connected nothing is sent.
- The WhatsApp opt-in answer is saved on the order and reaches Ohanvi with the order.
The chat button is a plain link to wa.me (WhatsApp) and loads nothing from any server.

Installation
- Install and activate the plugin from Plugins > Add New.
- Go to WooCommerce > Marketing > Ohanvi.
- Click Connect to Ohanvi, sign in, and approve access.
- Optional: turn on the chat button and enter your WhatsApp number.
Requires WooCommerce 10.0 or later. Your store must be on HTTPS for the one-step connect.

Does this plugin send data to a third party?

Yes, to Ohanvi, and only after you connect your store. See “External service” above for exactly what is sent and when.

Do I need an Ohanvi account?

Yes. Sign up at https://ohanvi.com.

Does it work with the block checkout?

Yes. The opt-in checkbox and cart recovery work with both the Cart and Checkout blocks and the classic shortcode checkout. The plugin is compatible with High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).

Is the opt-in checkbox ticked by default?

No. Shoppers tick it themselves, and their answer is saved on the order.

My store is not on HTTPS. Can I still connect?

Yes. In Ohanvi, choose Enter keys manually and paste a REST API key pair created under WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API.

What happens if I deactivate the plugin?

Order updates keep working, because they come from WooCommerce itself; the opt-in checkbox, cart recovery and chat button stop. Disconnect the store in Ohanvi to stop everything.
